What?
Teacher's Pet is an AI agent that frees teachers from repetitive, tiring work so they can focus on what matters most—teaching.
Why?
We're students who've dealt with both the pain of grading, and being graded. We're here to make it easier from here on out, cheers!
How we built it
We built this on top of technologies like Claude, and utilized tools like Lovable to iterate on our UI. Our document processing is based off Claude's frontier Sonnet models, and parallel processing in the backend on a Flask server with asynchronous calls.
What's next for Teacher's Pet
Escalating this to institutions like high schools in the Bay Area educational districts, and running trial phases to see how we can expand our suite for AI-assistance tools for teachers.
