36-Te entiendo

Inspiration

There are about 700 thousand deaf people in Mexico, but there´s no general interest in learning sign language.

What it does

The app, in its first version, allows you to learn interactively how to spell words in sign language.

How we built it

Using Unity and 3D modeling.

Challenges we ran into

One of our computers overheated; internet problems and we began with limited knowledge of the platform.

Self learning of Unity.

What we learned

Open our minds to social problems around us.

What's next for Te entiendo

Make the app a whole dictionary of Mexican Sign Language and us it for real-time interpretation.
