Inspiration
The use cases of AR is expanding rapidly, and Tchibo is a company that could severely do with a strong presence in it. With the use of AR visualization for their household products, Tchibo could revolutionize the way they do e-commerce.
What it does
Allows users to visualize how the Tchibo coffee machine would look like in their home by using an Android app. This is coupled with a faux store system for a potential Tchibo android shop app.
How we built it
The prototype was built with Unity3D, which is a game engine that is more commonly being used for engineering applications. If I were to rebuild this project, I would likely use a mixture of different AR technologies to better support the web shop, like using Apple's AR quicklook along with a separate android tool.

Refreshing my blender 3D modeling skills after many years of doing nothing.
