Our Inspiration
One of our team members has a 18-month-old baby. Seeing the baby grow everyday really inspired us to collect all his life details, so he could see this development journey once grown up.
Additionally, we both are AI/LLM enthusiasts and diary keepers. Memories are precious yet fragile. We genuinely want to leverage technology to protect valuable life details.
What it does
Pensieve has two functions: extract memory and share life details.
For extraction, it could take photos and generate enriched journals based on imagine contents and metadata (location, weather, timezone)
It could also remember user’s life details based on previous journals/photos and share them back, like a digital copy of the user.
What we learned
Memories are full of details that can easily be forgotten. Pensieve could help people collect these details and play them back, so we could experience them again and again. All thanks to LLM’s capability in customizing info and understanding context.
What's next for Pensieve
Add functionality to extract memories from videos clips. Design more intuitive UI.
