Inspiration
Not long ago, both of us suffered sports-related injuries. During our recovery, we realized how confusing medical terminology can be—most of it felt like a foreign language. That experience inspired us to create something that could help others better understand their medical situations.
What It Does
ClearCare translates complex medical jargon into plain, easy-to-understand language, making health information more accessible to everyone. All while being powered by AI.
How We Built It
We chose to develop a desktop application using Electron and Webpack. Our goal was to create a tool that’s always available and not just another web-based gimmick.
Challenges We Ran Into
Packaging and building the desktop app proved to be tricky. We faced several technical roadblocks in ensuring the app could run smoothly across different systems.
Accomplishments We're Proud Of
We successfully built a fully functional desktop app that users can download and run locally.
What We Learned
Throughout this project, we learned how to work with Electron and Webpack to create cross-platform desktop applications.

Our next steps include improving accessibility features and refining the user experience to make the app even more intuitive and helpful.
