Inspiration
I’m an iOS engineer and use Logitech MX keyboards and mice every day while working in Xcode and the iOS Simulator. Even with years of experience and memorized shortcuts, I’m always looking for ways to remove unnecessary clicks and interruptions.
What I Built
I built MobileSim Control, a set of Logitech Actions plugins that bring common iOS Simulator and Xcode workflows directly onto Logitech hardware. The goal is to reduce context switching and let developers stay focused while building.
How I Built It
The project was built using the Logitech Actions SDK and integrates with native macOS and iOS development tools. Simulator actions and Xcode workflows can be triggered instantly using buttons, dials, and gestures.
Challenges & Learnings
The main challenge was designing actions that feel simple, reliable, and fast while mapping well to physical controls. This project reinforced how powerful hardware-driven workflows can be for professional developers.
