Pill Buddy

Inspiration

Elderly people, children, me... We all often forget to take our daily medication. If only there was a way to be forced to take it and not have to risk our health every time we forget...

What it does

Pill Buddy will alert you when it is time to take medication by flashing lights and playing a loud alarm, the only way to silence it is by receiving your medication.

How we built it

We built Pill Buddy using an Arduino Uno(C++), a servo, an LCD screen, a buzzer, buttons, cardboard, and a lot of hot glue.

• Zeidan: how to use Arduino boards
• Laylan: learned new wiring techniques and more in-depth Arduino usage
• Josie: how to use C++ to program for Arduino
