What it does

It is a chatbot that utilizes the PromptAPI of Gemini Nano.

How we built it

We created a chrome extension that utilizes PromptAPI for Gemini Nano On-Device AI. We created the web interface using HTML, CSS and JS along with JS for clientside scripting. The Chatbot was tested on Chrome Canary.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was not having a computer powerful enough to run ai workflows on device which made the testing a lot harder as often the model would crash due to having not enough resources

Accomplishments that we're proud of

CleoAssist chatbot itself. It was a first for us to create a chrome extension. So we are also proud of that.

What we learned

Creating an extension is relatively easy if you know what you're doing.

What's next for CleoAssist

Implementation of Translate API and Language Detector API for detection and offline translation, Rewriter API and Writer API for offline writing of articles and edits. Integration to home automation systems for offline AI models.
