Inspiration

Taxes are always boring so we bring you a super fun app to calculate your tax and keep a check of your budget every year. An app that is a tax calculation and guide for European countries. Doing tax returns is a time-consuming and expensive task, whether for personal or business. A good expense management app to answer this problem is a tax and invoicing application that uses blockchain technology. Taking care of your customers’ financial tasks will be easier with this kind of app.

What it does

Our app has lots of unique features. The user can log on and register to the app and get guidance on tax information be able to use an in-built calculator for different taxes: property, consumption, income, etc. It helps keep a track of your finances n taxes in a user friendly app.

How we built it

For the constraints of time we could only use Figma for the prototype and flutter to build the app.

Challenges we ran into

Acquiring information and tax formula for all European countries at once was a challenge we faced while working on this project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to prototype and start coding the flutter app for android and ios. We are proud of what we achieved in a weeks time and coordinating with the team in different time zones.

What we learned

The key for technology success is good planning.

What's next for Taxion

We are going to keep building the app and deploy it for users in Europe after the hackathon is finished. We plan to use Open Ziti going forward.
