Inspiration

Every February I end up with a folder full of receipt photos, scans and emailed PDFs and lose a weekend sorting them for my tax return.

What it does

Tax Shoebox is a Skill for UGREEN AI NAS that reads those files where they already are, sorts them by year and by Japanese expense or deduction category, and shows me the totals before it saves anything. With my approval it writes a summary, a ledger and a medical-expense list, and can copy the files into folders with names the tax office likes. It never deletes or moves my originals.

What's next

Round 1 is the Skill design and package; the real NAS test is planned for the finalist day.
