Inspiration

I was first motivated to make this game as tax fraud is a bit of running joke in my group of friends and I enjoyed making video games. So, put the two together and you get Tax Fraud Simulator.

What it does

It's a video game where you play mini games and try to avoid as many taxes as possible to prevent yourself from becoming bankrupt

How we built it

I used Scratch, a popular block coding language. All code was done by me, all sprites are drawn by me or come from the Scratch library, and any music used was attributed in the Credits section of game page

Challenges we ran into

I underestimated the amount of time and work I needed to complete my project and had to cut a few corners to meet the deadline. There was also some coding challenges where I struggled but eventually succeeded with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I was able to complete a game in such a short amount of time

What we learned

I gained some more video game making skill and also some video editing skill due to the video we had to make

What's next for Tax Fraud Simulator (Video Game)

I will likely not update the game as often after completing a project I feel satisfied and that I should move onto new projects
