We fought our own property tax increase 3 years ago—won, but it took 30 hours of manual research, forms, and follow-ups. We knew there had to be a better way.

What it does

Tax Appeal AI helps homeowners generate a custom property tax appeal package in minutes—using address, comps, and AI-generated arguments.

How we built it

We used Bolt & GPT to draft appeal letters, tapped into public records APIs for property data, and built a clean front-end to guide users step-by-step.

Challenges we ran into

Getting consistent comp data across counties was tough. Also balancing legal nuances in different jurisdictions with a simple UX.

Built a working MVP that generates a full appeal package in under 5 minutes—what used to take us 30 hours.
