Inspiration
We take inspiration from mobile app and workshop. For kids money education we looked on the internet for some studies, so we can choose the most efficient way to educate them.
How we built it
App is basically normal banking app but simplified. We tried to make design the simplest, so younger kids could orient in app’s environment easily. Kids have 2 accounts, one for savings and another one for pocket money. Pocket money can be used instantly meanwhile if they want to use savings, parents must approve it. Every month unused pocket money will be transferred to savings. Transferring money between close friends is instant but for unknown users, parents must approve it. That’s about banking, but we want to educate kids so we made prototype of game. In this game we will make virtual money out of your real money. In this game you can buy toys or food for your virtual money. These items will be used for some games that kids can play. They have also option to go to bank and save money with some interest. But the lesson is that they have limited money and if they don’t have enough money, the warning message will appear. So, they must save money or wait till they got pocket money from parents. The key is that they need to save money if they want to buy more expensive items and how to invest money for example on savings accounts with interest.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was to make it "Kids friendly" so they can use this app without any problems.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our teamwork, because it’s our first time on HK.

What's next for Tatra Banka - kids mobile application
Next is to develop games in which we use items that kids will buy. We can upgrade ways how to earn/save money and for sure design.
