Inspiration

Our team's inspiration was inspired by social media platforms, such as: Twitter and TikTok.

What it does

The mobile app "Tastii" is a social media platform which allows users to post their recipes, allows users to like and save other users' posts, follow other users, join recipe contests, and simply scroll through their timeline.

How we built it

We used Figma for prototyping, Dart for programming, Flutter for the platform, and Firebase for database management to construct our platform.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenges were Firebase implementation and merging conflicts on GitHub.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our team is most proud of learning new programming languages and working together to develop a sleek mobile application. As this was some of our members first time doing a hackathon, we are proud of what we have accomplished.

What we learned

While we learned a ton about hacking, we gained the most from this experience by collectively brainstorming. We learned more about how to do prototyping on Figma, how to start a database for mobile apps.
