Inspiration

I love trying new foods but often struggle to choose what to eat nearby. I wanted a fast, fun way to decide.

What it does

TasteSwipe is “Tinder for food.” Swipe through iconic local dishes with photos, see nearby spots, and save favorites.

How we built it

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges

Designing something playful yet simple, and ensuring images and descriptions match each dish.

Accomplishments

As a newcomer to web development, I shipped a clean, usable UI and iterated quickly based on feedback.

What’s next for TasteSwipe

Expand beyond restaurants to home-cooking ideas and personalized picks, plus shared swiping to help friends decide together.
