Inspiration
Foreign F&B and consumer brands entering Southeast Asia still guess — relying on slow consultants and personal networks. 2026 brings a wave of Korean, Japanese and Chinese chains into Vietnam.
What it does
Enter a brand, a Vietnamese city (HCMC, Hanoi, Da Nang) and a category. Eleven specialist agents (Brand Profiler, Audience Mapper, City Scout, Taste Affinity, Competitor Scan, Cultural Fit, Price Sensitivity, Channel Planner, Risk Analyst, Localization Writer, Verdict Synthesizer) run live, pull real taste signals from Qloo, and return a GO / PILOT / NO-GO verdict with confidence, affinity scores, audience segments, competitors, risks, a neighborhood heat map and a printable market-entry memo. EN/VI interface.
How it's Qloo-powered
Server-side calls to Qloo's hackathon API (/search to resolve the brand and local places into entity IDs, /v2/insights for cross-domain affinities scoped to the city). Every score shown traces back to Qloo evidence; if Qloo fails the app shows an error instead of inventing data.
How we built it
Agent pipeline on a serverless backend with an LLM orchestrating the agents, Qloo as the taste-intelligence tool, black/white minimal UI.
Platform vision
Market Packs (each city/country a plug-in), Agent Registry, API-first multi-tenant core, outcome data store; roadmap Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines. Two-sided network of foreign brands and Vietnamese operators/investors.
Challenges / What's next
Qloo coverage of Vietnamese local places is thinner than US cities, so we combine city-scoped place search with brand affinities; next: Opportunity Index for 200 brands, first deal in HCMC, then Bangkok.
