Inspiration
During the COVID19 shelter-in-place, many people report feeling unproductive and unmotivated. TaskWorld strives to address this issue by creating an efficient to-do list app that not only helps people stay organized but also connected with the world.
What it does
TaskWorld sorts and organizes to-do tasks in an efficient way. When a task is complete, TaskWorld movitates users to continue their productivity by displaying progress around the world through The New York Times.
How I built it
-Swift & Xcode in MVC model -Realm to store all data -Cocoapods for swipe and color frameworks
Challenges I ran into
This is the very first time I learned to use databases to store data. I had to learn how to use Realm to store data and link relationships. In addition, the color framework cocoapods also took some work to code contrasting colors and gradient.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of & What I learned
I learned about Realm, CRUD methods, Cocoapods, and Table Views.
What's next for TaskWorld
I hope to implement a News API to display inspirational stories directly on the app.
