Inspiration

We got inspiration from the current issues the world is going through. Many people all around the world including us feel unmotivated and lonely, we wanted to change that with our app. Many students may feel distant from their friends and family, our app is designed to help build stronger relationships with activities you can do with your friends and family.

What it does

Our app generates the perfect task for you, lets you to try and explore different activities, as well as bond with friends and family.

How we built it

We built it using Android Studio and Flutter. We created our own algorithms to make it work. We started with planning it out and designing and then went on to incorporating basic functionality.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges when trying to connect elements of code, namely the category options and their corresponding lists.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of getting this app to work the way we want it to despite being beginners at programming and this language.

What we learned

We learned that we were capable of building an app in 24 hours. We learned many new things about Dart and Flutter.

What's next for TaskME

We do want to expand our app by adding more features where the user could feel more connected and engaged. We want to add a google sign-in option, and also give the user a summary of the tasks they have completed at the end of the year. We also have a plan to incorporate a place for the user to take a picture of them doing their task and make an album out of those accomplishments.
