Inspiration

Students and professionals often struggle to manage tasks, deadlines, and daily productivity in one place. Most tools are either too complex or lack intelligence. We wanted to build something simple yet smart that actually helps users stay on track.

What it does

TaskMate is an AI-powered productivity assistant that helps users create, organize, and manage tasks efficiently. It can suggest task priorities, help break down work into smaller steps, and improve daily planning.

How we built it

We built TaskMate using a full-stack approach. The frontend provides a simple and clean interface for task management, while the backend handles task storage and logic. We also integrated AI-based features to enhance productivity and decision-making.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was designing a system that stays simple while still being intelligent. Balancing usability with AI features required multiple iterations and testing.

What we learned

We learned how to combine productivity systems with AI features to create a more helpful user experience. We also improved our skills in full-stack development and project structuring for real-world applications.
