Inspiration TaskLoop was born from a conversation between my father and me. We realized that while many platforms in India offer local service bookings, they often overlook two critical aspects: user privacy and trust. Personal phone numbers are exchanged too freely, service quality is rarely verified, and users often take the conversation off-platform, leading to scams, disputes, and safety issues.
We saw a large gap in the Indian market for a platform that doesn’t just connect people for services — but does so securely, with identity-verified users, no exposure of contact details, and strong incentives to stay on-platform. Not just for predefined services — but also for completely custom task requests.
That’s how TaskLoop was born.
What it does TaskLoop is a private, secure service-connection platform that allows users to:
Browse from ready-made service categories (e.g. car wash, home cleaning, repairs)
Post fully custom task requests that verified providers can bid on (within a 30km radius)
Key features include:
🔒 Company-masked contact numbers: Real numbers are never exchanged
✅ eKYC Verification: Aadhaar/digilocker + facial verification for both customers and providers
💬 Custom tasks bidding system: Verified providers nearby can bid within a 5-hour window
💰 Visit-based upfront token payment: Secures the provider’s visit & deters time-wasters
🎯 Provider incentives: Ratings affect visibility, task access, and performance bonuses
🤖 AI support chatbot: Built-in chat assistant to handle user queries directly within the platform
📱 Dual-sided portal: Separate dashboards for customers and providers tailored to their specific needs
Importantly, TaskLoop remains neutral — we do not guarantee service quality or payment protection. We are a connection layer, not a service contractor.
How we built it We built TaskLoop using Bolt for fast prototyping and deployment, combined with custom front-end logic and scroll-based animations.
🔧 Architecture & Features:
A modern, glowing 3D-inspired dark theme
Scroll-matched canvas animations (e.g. clock trail, particles, gradients)
Two distinct flows — one for service providers, one for customers
Provider dashboard includes earnings, active jobs, and rating-based insights
Customer dashboard includes wallet, task status, and quick-post options
Masked number connection logic was built in the back end, simulating a telephony relay
Providers can define service radius, base rate, and availability
Challenges we ran into Optimizing complex animations (e.g. animated clock, scroll-linked rendering) for performance
Designing an interface that explains masked calls, eKYC, and upfront confirmation fees in a simple, non-threatening way
Balancing UI clarity, functionality, and device performance (especially on mobile)
Accomplishments that we're proud of Built and deployed a functioning dual-sided service platform with clear, private connections
Designed a glowing, modern UI that’s smooth, clear, and appreciated by test users
Implemented privacy-first features (e.g. masked contact, no off-platform chats)
Created a new service paradigm tailored to the Indian market's realities — secure, verified, and incentivized
What we learned User trust is built through clarity and control, not just design or features
Masked number systems and token payments can drastically reduce friction and scams
Giving providers rewards and visibility for good behavior is more effective than punishing bad ones
India's market needs custom, local solutions — not just global clones
What’s next for TaskLoop Finalizing Aadhaar-based eKYC and face verification flows
Launching real-time masked call relays using cloud telephony APIs
Improving the provider ranking algorithm based on trust signals and task completion
Expanding service categories and deepening the bidding experience
Launching a PWA version for mobile and enabling offline-first support
Adding optional feedback/review system while keeping the platform neutral
