As someone with ADHD and other issues that affect my motivation, I've always found it hard to find a reason to complete tasks. Other apps with a similar purpose either failed to keep me engaged in the long term, or were too complex, focused on big life changes instead of simple to-do lists. This is where Taskkits comes in.
Taskkits fills the need for a judgement-free motivational app to help people complete their to-do list each day, with plenty of customization options to ensure it can be adapted for everyone. Users can set the difficulty of the tasks they add, based on how hard it is for them personally to complete that task. There's no shame in setting "Brush your teeth" as a hard task, because sometimes, it really is that hard. Each level of difficulty gives different rewards as both experience and coins. Collecting enough experience to level up unlocks cosmetic features and encourages your Taskkit to grow when you reach certain milestones, and coins can be used to customize the environment and look of your Taskkit.
Though this is just a prototype, Taskkits has the potential to become a full-fledged app with support and resources to form a development team.
