Inspiration

We've worked in teams on multiple projects, and we found that the process of deligating tasks has always been tedious and can be eextremely time-consuming. Therefore, we decided to build TaskFlowAi.

What it does

It allow user to simply input the Project description, then it will look at the team members' skills and interest to split the Project into the most personalized tasks but small enough to handle for each member. It also set the estimate time interval, the status. The TaskFlowAi dashboard allow members to see and understand the team project's workflow and their own tasks

How we built it

With React, Firebase and KindoAI we were able to build TaskFlow AI. Our team of three spilt into 3 disciplines; ux and ui, ai, and databases. Once the concept was finalized we worked on our individual tasks and frequently brought our commits together to test the app along the way.

Challenges we ran into

We exceeded our quota on Firebase right at the time we planned to record our footage for presenting. What was aready quite a rush turned into chaos near the very end just to make sure our submission was complete. We also stumbled along the from about 4am as all of us were so eager that we decided to get as little rest as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing. For what the app looks like to only have 24 hours to build it and come away with a strong proof of concept is great. We attended for the first time and gave it our best shot.

What we learned

KindoAI! It being the "swiss-army knife" for all LLMs and letting us build AI powered apps very easily and switch modles flawlessly. As community college students we're also just building up our social and tehcnical skills. Events like this let us know of time constraints and deadlines and really trying to be efficient with our code.

What's next for TaskFlowAI

Some level of integration with other software would be amazing. TaskFlow is meant to be an assistive collaborative tool. Having AI start our tasks in the Kanban like environment is great but being able to schedule meetings, set up reminders, and manage your time in a professional way so that you can spend your time actually doing the work!
