Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came from a desire to simplify and enhance the experience of booking and paying for services like house cleaning and pet care. We saw an opportunity to leverage blockchain technology, specifically the Flow blockchain, to create a more transparent, secure, and efficient payment system for these services.

What it does

Taskflow allows users to browse and select from services such as house cleaning, pet care, and more. Once they choose a service, they can pay for it using Flow tokens. This integration of blockchain technology enables faster transactions, lower fees, and increased transparency in the payment process.

How we built it

We built the platform by using Next.js for the frontend to provide a fast and interactive user experience, while Cadence for smart contracts and Flow CLI for contract deployment to ensure efficient blockchain integration.

Challenges we ran into

  • Faced issue deploying contract to the Flow testnet.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Developed Taskflow, a service-providing website.
  • Learned more about Cadence and Flow Blockchain.

What we learned

  • Learned more about Cadence programming language.

What's next for TaskFlow

  • In Taskflow we will be looking forward to adding a section for the creation of new services.
  • Implementation of ipfs.
