🚀 Inspiration

I wanted to create a task management app that goes beyond basic to-do lists. Many tools in the market either overwhelm users with complexity or lack smart, collaborative features. TaskatyApp was born from the idea of combining simplicity, AI assistance, and seamless team collaboration to help people manage their work, studies, and personal tasks efficiently — all in one place.

TaskatyApp is a smart task management platform that helps users:

  • Organize tasks and projects with ease

  • Generate task content using AI (perfect for work plans, school assignments, and more)

  • Share tasks with team members and collaborate in real-time

  • Comment on tasks and track team activity effortlessly

  • Export task lists to PDF and Word for easy reporting

  • Stay organized using smart labels for better task prioritization

🛠️ How We Built It

We built TaskatyApp using:

  • Frontend: Bolt AI

  • Backend: Laravel for authentication and data storage

  • AI Integration: Google Gemini API for AI-powered task content generation

🧩 Challenges We Ran Into

  • Fine-tuning the AI prompt structure to ensure it generates relevant and usable task content across various use cases.
  • Learning about Bolt's different capabilities was easy, though.
