Inspiration

We always love having a visual checklist in completing my tasks, it really allows me to focus and get things done. We love simplicity and don't like over-the-top apps. Our app will not be distracting at all and is something we personally will use.

What it does

This app is as bare as possible, and allows the user to create a task list, or to-do list with as much detail as they want.

How we built it

We developed the back-end code on Python3 as a mock test run. We did not have enough time to fully implement it as an app, but we are currently working towards getting it up and running on iOS.

Challenges we ran into

We had some trouble with syntax and making sure our functions worked together seamlessly. We had some trouble collaboratively coding for a long time, but figured it out using the Visual Studio Live Share extension. Test running was a bit of a hassle but we used a terminal-based test run and it worked out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having developed a functioning app back-end. Completing our first hackathon was a really rewarding feeling.

What we learned

We learned a lot about what goes into apps, mainly on the back-end. Learning how the hackathon worked was a struggle

What's next for Task Scheduler

iOS App! We hope to include some Machine learning aspects in the future to provide the user some information on what study strategies are most effective for completing work.
