Inspiration
As a student a ton of coursework can be assigned in such a short amount of time. In order to not become overwhelmed, I wanted to create something where I could list all of the work that had to be done to make sure that it would be completed.
What it does
It prompts the user to sign up, then it allows the user to create their own tasks if they have signed up successfully.
How we built it
The web app was built using Flask, HTML, JavaScript, and Python It was mainly built using this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dam0GPOAvVI Any changes that were made were minimal, but I loved the learning process
Challenges we ran into
There were some problems with importing, as well as slight changes that had to be made due to an out dated tutorial
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I chose to do something I haven't done yet. I went into this with zero experience on building a web application.
What we learned
I learned the basics of using Flask in Python, I also learned some of the basics of HTML while recreating this project.
What's next for Task Manager
I would like for Task Manager to be able to have a due date next to the notes that are created, maybe also make the app look better
