Task Cleaner — a mental health wellness app designed to help users manage stress, stay motivated, boost productivity, build healthy habits, and improve your environment. The idea behind task cleaner is simple: have you ever woken up and just wanted to stay on your phone for the entirety of your morning? And after that, you feel like your entire day was ruined, right? It happens that there are also many other people, especially youth, who struggle with getting productive early in the morning. Task Cleaner makes doing mundane chores fun and visual. Using uploaded photos and intelligent feedback, task cleaner is like a cleaning assistant that keeps you accountable. Here’s how it works: First, the user types what they want to do — for example, “make bed,” “clean table,” or “do dishes.” Our chatbot instantly recognizes the keywords and sends them to the right task zone — Bed, Table, or Dishes. Once they’re in that zone, the user uploads a clean reference photo — basically, what “done” should look like. Next, the app starts a 10-minute focus timer, giving the user time to clean. When the timer’s up, the user uploads an after photo, and our system compares it with the clean reference to give helpful feedback and award points if the job looks good.
