Inspiration

We related it towards our own lives, as we know how hard it is to focus on assignments without getting distracted or procrastinating it and that is a very bad habit, but making this could fix this and turn it into a healthy habit

What it does

After you set a task in the app the app reminds you 2 minutes before it is due and if you go overdo it blocks every app except google and this allow you to do your homework without any distractions. But people might say that you could just search up stuff in google but we have a solution for that as well as you can add websites you can block like youtube.com or any other games like poki.com.

How we built it

We used Antigravity IDE to make the project. By telling it specific instructions, we made our app.

Challenges we ran into

While talking to AI is a bit challenging because it doesn't know what we mean like if I tell the AI to "make the slides look chill" The AI might think that it wants it cold so it might include picture of an iceberg but we ended up explaining it pretty well so it works how we want it. Another problem we faced was how we would block the websites like google.com but it we managed to do it and now we have a place where we can place all our websites we want to ban.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really happy that we all got to work together because all of us didn't know our skill but together we were able to make something that shows our skill and understand where we are at.

What we learned

We learned how to effectively talk to AI and make it understand what we are saying to do what we told.

What's next for Task Checker Bot

We plan on pushing out a couple of new versions that would work for Windows and Mobile, as this version is only working on Mac. In the near future, we also plan on doing bug fixes and other detrimental stuff to fix any problems with the app.
