Task Assigner

Inspiration

We had a bad experience with the onboarding process at companies that we interned in, so this challenge resonated with us.

What it does

A web app that allows the manager to give intern tasks and the intern can communicate that they are done through a button.

How we built it

The frontend is built using React and MUI, and the backend is built using Nest.js.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the frontend and backend to be connected, which we still couldn't figure it out

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We wrote code, and for a team of 2 people we made some good progress.

What we learned

We should not sleep 8 hours next time, we did not have enough time at all

What's next for Task Assigner

Adding a chat, adding a star rating for each task for self evaluation, which would produce a graph that can somewhat indicate the mood that the intern is in.
