Inspiration

Ecommerce sellers constantly struggle with HS codes, tariff lookups, and customs paperwork. We built TariffCatalog to make these tasks fast and accessible.

What it does

TariffCatalog helps you find candidate HS codes, check for a missing country of origin, estimate duty inputs, and prepare customs document drafts for Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and CSV product catalogs.

How we built it

Built as a freemium web tool for ecommerce catalogs, with data-driven HS code and tariff lookups plus document generation.

Challenges we ran into

Tariff data is complex and varies by country, so mapping catalog products to candidate HS codes and duty inputs accurately was a key challenge.

What's next

Expanding country coverage, improving HS code suggestions, and adding more customs document templates.
