Our project idea started with wanting to do something with webcrawling and scraping. We eventually landed on the idea of building a password cracking script that creates high entropy passwords using targeted words that would be more likely to be present in passwords. For example, if a white hat hacker got access to password hashes from a company like Facebook (purely hypothetical), they could configure the program to scrape wikipedia, company pages, public profiles, etc. to find terms and symbols that employees at Facebook would be more likely to choose.

Unfortunately, the project didn't really go as expected. We got the separate parts of the project working (the algorithm for generating passwords and the webcrawler), but couldn't get them to work together. We did learn a lot about some useful python libraries and how webcrawling works, so it wasn't a complete waste :)
