Inspiration

The inspiration came from having to switch between different interfaces to try out several AI models. Most people only know ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and are missing out on a lot of the potential that AI have. This is all due to the lack of accessible information and a place to try out that AI has to offer.

What it does

TAPA let's you chat with different proprietary and open-source models in one simple, and intuitive interface without all the context switching. And more importantly, it has a friendly mascot that you can interact with and learn how to leverage AI without all the technical complexity or jargon.

How we built it

We built using Bolt primarily with React, Tailwindcss, Typescript, Supabase, and deployed on Netlify.

Challenges we ran into

The Bolt platform being unavailable at different times. Finding the proper teammates that can help out. Having difficulty working on the project on different Bolt accounts, Having no real way to share progress other than through Github,

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to pull off such a high-quality looking (and functioning) MVP in 2 weeks. Tight deadline. The Different functionalities that are working that would have taken us weeks to do on our own.
