Inspiration
Most lucrative yield opportunities in DeFi are built upon inflationary tokenomics. For the Solana DeFi ecosystem to have longevity, we were exploring ways to create sustainable sources of high yield to users. That's how we landed on using option strategies to generate returns for users.
What it does
Tap Finance is a suite of option strategy vaults aimed at generating sustainable yield for single token assets. The goal is to create the best non-inflationary yields on the Solana Ecosystem.
Our first product is a USDC-BTC-Put vault. The vault produces yield on USDC through a BTC put option selling strategy. The options, written using the PsyOptions protocol, are collateralized in USDC and the yields are auto compounded to maximize returns. With current market conditions we expect to deliver 20+% APY on user's USDC!
Tap was built on top of Anchor with the help of the Solana community! We're a group of devs and product folks with a background working for some of the biggest tech companies in the world. We're looking forward to containing building Tap alongside and for the Solana community.
What's next for Tap Finance
Tap's long term vision is to offer sustainable yield through options strategies to the Solana Ecosystem. After launching on Mainnet with our first product, Tap Finance will add a number of different vaults for a large variety of single token assets for users to select their strategy depending on their market outlook.
