The project uses what we learned in lab 5 to control a Zumo Motor Tank. The arduino is physically mounted to the tank's Zumo shield, and our programs use the Zumo libraries to interface the arduino to the robot's controls. We mounted a bluetooth HC05 module to the tank, and used another HC05 and an LCD keypad shield to build a remote control. We wrote separate programs for each component, each requiring use of the SoftwareSerial.h library and requiring significant research on our own to understand how and why our code should work. The result is a mobile remote-controlled tank with a range of at least ten meters, and the ability to bug other lab students from afar.
