Inspiration

The average carbon footprint for a person in the United States is 16 tons, one of the highest rates in the world! That's the average American's carbon footprint from our home, work, travel and everything else we do and buy. Globally, the average carbon footprint is closer to 4 tons. To have the best chance of avoiding a 2℃ rise in global temperatures, the average global carbon footprint per year needs to drop to under 2 tons by 2050.

What it does

Everyone is the producer of carbon dioxide, which is how carbon dioxide is produced, and the significance of Tanbii is that everyone can have a way to offset the carbon dioxide they produce to achieve the purpose of protecting the natural environment. Tanbii uses NFTs as a starting point and opens up blockchain platforms to achieve Web 3.0 for carbon-neutral behavior. Users can complete various low-carbon behaviors in the platform based on the blockchain, and carry out carbon verification, carbon trading, carbon finance, etc. They will earn Tanbii, our token, for each carbon reduction activity performed. Users can use Tanbii to exchange for free “ugly” farm produces from local farmers, donate to carbon offset projects such as reforestation and coral reef restoration, and exchange for discounts at our partner merchants.

Don't stop dreaming, don't stop executing, don't screw up our world

What's next for Tanbii

Looking for a technical co-founder to build the app while I focus on acquiring seed users and get the carbon credit verified.
