Inspiration

Students are often in a time crunch and don't manage in wisely, so we decided to create this app to help them with time management.

What it does

It uses backboard to build a personalized schedule that syncs with your Google calendar and Omnivox, consisting of tasks (eg. projects, exams) so you know exactly what to do.

How we built it

We used vultr to host our website, backend and postgres server. We built our frontend using React, and designed our UI/UX to be clean and minimalistic, minimizing clutter and redundance.

Challenges we ran into

Backboard.ai: It was challenging to connect to the API. Omnivox: Web scraping omnivox to get the user's grades. Design: Creating the design for the website, so it looks clean, slick and it usable and intuitive, that took quite some time. The whole project: We worked separately on frontend and backend and when it came to intergrate both of them together it was quite a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Just the fact that we created a functional app in 24 hours makes us very proud of ourselves. The design looks sick, and actually integrating AI to create tasks and schedules also seems very cool to us.
