Inspiration

Our inspiration was our family ad loved lines that are going through this situation of being in debt due to medical bills.

What it does

Our project gives information and statistics about the lack of healthcare equity and how it affects a majority of people today. It also gives sources for how you can contribute to helping solve the problem.

How we built it

We built this website by using "Replit" along with our prior knowledge about coding. Although non of us are professional coders, we also went to office hours for help along the way.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues with the fun fact survey since our code wasn't working. We solved this problem by going to office hours and asking for help on how to fix our issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our team is very proud that we accomplished to create a website that is visually appealing and solves our issues with the quiz code.

What we learned

So many people are struggling and there is not a lot of awareness about the problem in the healthcare industry. A large majority of middle and lower classes in the hierarchy have trouble affording medical and many die due to it. In addition, colored people are at a disadvantage when it comes to having access to help.

What's next for TALL - Awareness from the Heart

Awareness from the Heart is spreading this website and the word about the healthcare system equity. By connecting to people through the internet via our website and in-person since we understand and are more knowledgeable about this topic. We also want to expand our website so there is more relevant information about our topic. We want to make the quiz better since we came across a lot of problems while coding.
