Inspiration

The inspiration comes from the rapid growth in the market shares in the language learning platform, and inefficiency of the KCL language centre.

What it does

It will not only allow users to book the meetings in advance but also users can speak to the AI chatbots that are trained and personalised for the user.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

One challenge we faced is deciding which projects to do. In our discussion, there were several ideas suggested in which we found it difficult to choose the one we want to do. Through discussing about the projects we elaborated each member's idea and tested whether it is actually useful and commit to our goal. Second challenge is the structure of the presentation. We have spent majority of our time on talking about the significance of each point. For example, given that we want to convince audience to use our app, we put some numerical data to convince our speakers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We could spend sufficient amount of time to finalise our ideas and presentation in which we could not achieve last time. Therefore completing the presentation is an accomplishment that we are proud of.

What we learned

we learned the significance of introducing personalised learning for those who want to learn foreign language and also an inefficiency of learning language offered physically.

What's next for TalkWithMe

we would like to expand our scale from KCL Language centre to other university offering similar services and then to wider range of organisations.
