Inspiration
A little brainrot goes a long way and The Skibidi Rizzler hit us up on the phone asking if he should snag his gf a Don Pollo Chicken straight off Amazon and just like that, our skibidi-bopping journey began
What it does
It’s a Chrome extension designed for true sigmas like me and you, helping us become financially more skibidi and responsible. It analyzes your Amazon cart and hits you with the ultimate question: “Should you snag this or skip it?”
How we built it
we built the user interface using React keeping it clean and sigma-worthy, The backend is the vanilla cream of Node.js and FastAPI. We used openAI for conversation between Kai Cenat, Livvy Dunne, and CaseOh. As for text-to-speech, we used ElevenLabs (Goated)
Challenges we ran into
Connecting Backend and Frontend was like doing the skibidi toilet dance blindfolded no cap. Amazon's dynamic content played hide-and-seek making us tweak our scripts endlessly. Also faced some time constraints loading the content when user enters the checkout page but all of these constraints were no match for the Rizzards (us).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Brainrotifying Finance and making it fun which helps sigmas rethink their spendings and become more responsible, one Don Pollo Chicken at a time. doing a 14hr+ call with the team in one day, talk about Rizz right ? from late night brainstorming to rizzing up the cashier at waffle house, Our collaboration was unmatched!
What we learned
We're all just chill guys that want to contribute to the world. Brainrot could be one of the ways to help new gens adapt to some concepts and basics in different fields. Sigmas don't quit, we pivot and that's what lead us to redoing the backend. Saving money is the new Flex, we're out here making wallets skibidi dance.
What's next for TalkTuahTaxer
Rizzify more platforms such as eBay and Walmart. Take it to a new level with voice chat between the user and the extension using Retell AI, now you really gonna TalkTuah ! Personalized Aura Scores, track how skibidi and responsible you are according to your spendings. Mobile App Madness? Say less, just take a photo of the product and kai Cenat will take it from there.
