Inspiration
We were bored in the car, so we thought it would be nice to talk to others on the road!
What it does
Think of it like the radio, you come into the proximity of a car, you connect to a voice channel, then talk! It automatically disconnects when you are too far away!
How we built it
Our tech stack includes:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PeerJS
- Backend: node.js, express.js, socket.io
Challenges we ran into
Unfortunately, due to the constraints of the HTTP protocol, being used with sensitive data formats such as video and audio feeds, we were unable to show off the full capabilities given an HTTPS certificate with an off-site server.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We did not leave and actually completed our project (to the best of our ability) and did really well in CTF!
What we learned
The Automotive industry is an interesting place to be frfr
What's next for TalkTuahCar
