🧠 Inspiration

I'm 13. And I love building things.
But every time I had a startup idea, I hit the same wall — I’d open ChatGPT or Notion, and suddenly it was like… now what?

Most tools are either too generic or too overwhelming. I didn’t want just another chat box. I wanted something that felt like a co-founder — someone who actually thinks with you.

Last night, I almost gave up. I ran out of tokens, ElevenLabs failed, and I felt like I couldn’t finish. But then someone DM’d me and said,

“I love seeing young people build cool things.”
He sent me $30 to keep going. And I did.

That’s how TalkToBuild was born — and finished.

🚀 What It Does

TalkToBuild is your AI co-founder.
It’s not a chatbot — it’s a startup-building OS where you can talk, build, and launch from one place.

Instead of a blank screen, you get a full dashboard with tabs:

  • 💬 Idea Chat – Chat with your co-founder (structured or freestyle)
  • 🛠️ MVP Builder – Generates features, tech stack, APIs
  • 🎨 Brand Kit – Suggests colors, fonts, logo direction, slogans
  • 📤 Export – Full startup blueprint in Notion, PDF, Docs
  • 🔊 Voice – Every AI reply can be spoken aloud by Mark, your ElevenLabs-powered co-founder voice

Each AI tool connects to your startup’s data, so it builds with context. You can:

  • Get names, visions, and taglines
  • Plan monetization & pricing
  • Get GTM & virality strategies
  • Export pitch decks and blueprints
  • Write sticky notes & have AI highlight them
  • Access a full Founder OS powered by AI Bento cards

It’s fully responsive. Works on mobile, tablet, TV. And it speaks.

🏗️ How We Built It

  • Frontend: Built in Bolt.new (90%), styled with Tailwind + 21st.dev UI
  • AI: OpenAI GPT-4o for chat, tools, and content generation
  • Voice: ElevenLabs Creator API for AI voice agent “Mark”
  • Backend: Supabase for auth, projects, Pro plans, and user storage
  • Payments: Stripe (Pro plans for Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime)
  • Routing System: Custom handleCardClick() logic connects each tab/tool to an AI function using Supabase + prompt templates
  • Others: Fireworks AI as OpenAI backup, Cursor used for patching when Bolt failed

🚧 Challenges

  • Tokens ran out right before launch. I rebuilt critical parts with Cursor + Fireworks fallback.
  • ElevenLabs voice broke. I paused, then re-integrated with a better flow + voice toggle.
  • OS page was giving mock data. I redirected it to live blueprint outputs in /export.
  • Stripe logic failed once — rebuilt it with proper trial, promo code (LAUNCH100), and plan tracking.
  • I had to do all this solo, while also writing prompts, designing UI, and debugging with zero dev support.

✅ Accomplishments

  • Built 13 real AI startup tools inside one dashboard
  • Created a “build, don’t chat” experience — not another GPT clone
  • Integrated full Stripe Pro system with real pricing logic
  • Hooked voice replies into AI outputs (Mark says 🔊)
  • Built a launch deal engine (LAUNCH100 → 1 year Pro)
  • Finished it even after failure, burnout, and almost quitting

🧠 What We Learned

  • How to build a real AI SaaS product from zero to launch
  • How to integrate voice, OpenAI, Stripe, and Supabase in one stack
  • That great products are more about flow and intention than features
  • How to stay in the game — even when it breaks down
  • That community, belief, and one message can change everything

🌍 What’s Next — You Command. It Builds.

TalkToBuild is becoming a full Startup OS — not just a builder, but a launcher.

Next:

  • Save chats as startup kits (multi-project support)
  • Build AI co-founder personalities (mentor, investor, growth hacker)
  • Add funding tools (email VCs, build decks, match investors)
  • Export into Notion, Framer, Replit, Gumroad with 1 click
  • AI Builder Packs: kits for UGC creators, newsletters, personal brands
  • Team Mode — collaborate, comment, assign tasks
  • Add Launch Playbooks: Twitter posts, Reels, PH copy, email sequences

🧠 Final Line

TalkToBuild started as a personal idea — but it’s now a tool for every teen, solo hacker, or founder who ever had a startup idea… and didn’t know what to do next.

Now, they just talk — and it builds.
