Inspiration

A silly problem during everyday life, when you're the only one of your friends watching a tv show and you have no one to talk to about it.

What it does

Allows you to talk about a tv series with a chatbot. For now it has a very limited range of topics for the tv series Friends.

How we built it

• Chatbot logic using python, pytorch and nltk mostly, using neural nets for deep learning and natural language processing
• Creation of graphical interface with tkinter

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was the creation of the logic of the chatbot and then combining it with the graphic interface.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Merging graphical interface and chatbot logic together.

What we learned

Practicing in the creation of chatbots and use of new technologies.

What's next for TalkAboutSeries

1. Improve graphical interface
2. Improve quality and quantity of intents to have a wider range of topics
