Talk2Me

What it does

Talk2Me makes it easier to meet people at parties or social gatherings. If you see someone you're interested in talking you, you can easily find them by their photo and see if they're interested in meeting up. You'll only see people from right nearby.

Please note that the iOS version is currently unfinished, but the Android version is ready to go!

How I built it

We built two version of Talk2Me, one for Android and one for iOS. We used Facebook to handle user authentication and Firebase to handle our backend.

What's next for Talk2Me

We're looking to move forward with Talk2Me by polishing it up and publishing it to Google Play store. The iOS version is currently unfinished but we'd like to move forward with it as well.

I worked on connecting the Android app to the firebase backend. We ran into a few problems pulling data from facebook, but in the end we got it worked out. The project was a lot of fun, and we're hoping to clean up the code and turn it into something nicer in the future!
