Inspiration

Factories move fast, but software doesn’t. We were inspired by seeing production teams depend on manual logs, delayed dashboards, and long IT cycles for simple needs. We wanted to let factory experts build software by simply describing their problems.

What it does

Talk2Factory turns natural language into production-ready manufacturing software. Users describe needs like predictive maintenance or quality monitoring, and the platform generates full-stack web and mobile apps with AI, dashboards, and alerts.

How we built it

We built Talk2Factory entirely on Google’s AI stack. Gemini interprets user intent, Vertex AI powers predictive models, Pub/Sub and Dataflow handle real-time data, BigQuery stores analytics, and Firebase delivers secure web and mobile dashboards.

Challenges we ran into

Mapping vague human language to safe, reliable factory systems was hard. We also had to balance simplicity for users with industrial-grade accuracy, data quality issues, and safety-critical decision making.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a working Vibe Coding platform tailored for manufacturing, capable of generating predictive maintenance systems and dashboards in minutes—without writing traditional code.

What we learned

Manufacturing problems are context-driven, not code-driven. AI works best when it explains decisions clearly and reduces friction for domain experts instead of adding complexity.

What's next for Talk2Factory

We plan to expand industry-specific templates, add edge AI for real-time factory inference, and scale Talk2Factory into a multi-tenant SaaS for manufacturers worldwide.
