Talk To Us

Inspiration

We were inspired by the growing prevalence of AI agents and domestic abuse hotlines, to try to create an AI solution for people who aren't ready to talk to a real person about their experiences of domestic abuse.

What it does

Our app is a website that gives users the option to talk to a chat bot, write down their thoughts, analyze a screenshot, or seek help through professional resources.

How we built it

We used GPT4.0 and LangChain to create the chatbot which was created through node.js and the landing page used bootstrap for its CSS.

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of issues with getting AI agent to work as it GPT had unique attributes to it that we had to learn to workaround.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of getting a working chat that users can chat with and one that provides unique responses.

What we learned

We learned how to work with AI and create AI agents that have personalized experiences. We also learned how to work with data to create models.

What's next for Talk To Us

We aim to continue to personalize the chat experience and add more features in addition to the diary and screenshot analysis. Voice analysis would help greatly in trying to identify abuse situations.
