Inspiration

A young family friend was involved in a car accident which left him with a brain injury and a speech impediment

What it does

My project is for a text-to-talk communication device that should help teenagers especially those with an impediment in their speech or in presenting their understanding of language. WHO It’s for people with cerebral palsy, autism, traumatic brain injury, or other diagnoses that impair the ability to communicate

How we built it

Photoshop and Figma and then used the phototype in same to see how it looked on the phone

Challenges we ran into

Because of size requirements, the pages did not always run smoothly on to the phototype. It had to be edited quite a bit.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That there was no major problem with Figma and finally uploaded it on the phone. I used containers with layers on the separate page which perhaps may be possible to code with "Bravo" t

What we learned

There is a lot more support from outside the community, for example, Utube videos than in the Help section in Figma.

What's next for Talk to Me

To apply code. "Bravo" is an option.
