Inspiration

Inspired by my experience as a network engineer working closely with customers and their on-site technicians, I recognized the need to streamline troubleshooting for common issues. I observed that many problems could be resolved through basic troubleshooting steps, eliminating the need for a technician's physical presence. This realization inspired me to create a platform that facilitates collaboration between customers and technicians, providing them with a secure environment to troubleshoot network configurations while safeguarding sensitive information. My goal is to bridge the gap between customers and technicians, empowering them to resolve minor issues efficiently and effectively.

What it does

Our website is designed to bridge the gap between network technicians and customers, whether you’re a customer or technician, providing a seamless and tailored experience for both parties without compromising on platform security and reliability.

We aim to simplify network management and troubleshooting with user-friendly features and powerful tools.

How we built it

We built the platform using Python as the programming language, leveraging the Flask web framework for developing the web application. HTML was used for structuring the website's elements, while CSS was employed for styling and visual enhancements. To ensure robust security measures, we integrated the Pangea API, which allowed us to enhance the platform's security and protect sensitive information. The combination of these technologies and tools enabled us to create a reliable, user-friendly, and secure networking platform for efficient collaboration between customers and technicians.

Challenges we ran into

During the development and deployment process, we encountered a few design challenges. One of the major challenges was creating an intuitive user interface that accommodated the needs of both customers and technicians. We focused on ensuring a seamless user experience while maintaining a balance between simplicity and functionality.

Additionally, integrating all the necessary components for a specific use case posed some challenges. This required meticulous planning and coordination among the different modules to ensure smooth integration and seamless operation.

The deployment also presented its own set of challenges. Ensuring compatibility across different environments, handling potential server load issues, and implementing necessary security measures were some of the key areas that demanded careful attention.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in our achievements, including developing a strong CI/CD pipeline and creating an engaging front end. Our focus on automation and user experience ensures efficient development and seamless deployment of our platform.

What we learned

Throughout the development process, we gained valuable lessons in time management, coordination, and patience. Technically I learned frontend must and strengthened my deploying skills also integrating different software components
