Inspiration

I see lot of upcoming artiste struggling to make their presence felt. where opportunities are given to them, the pay a lot.

What it does

we decided to develop a web3 DApp that solves the issue of onboarding fresh talent into the music industry using the power of web3. Users record songs and upload them as Music NFTs. They also have they ability to go live and entertain audiences with the help of the Liivepeer network.

How we built it

Frontend: vite + react.js, postcss, tailwindcss, web3 technologies: XDC Pay, IPFS/filecoin, LivePeer, ethers.js, web3.js Backend: Solidity, Node.js Blockain Deployed: XDC Apthem Testnet and XDC Mainnet

Challenges we ran into

I actually ran into a challenge when deploying on mainnet, , it took me about 3 hours to figure out that the issue was a result of the RPC I was using. once i changed to a new RPC, it deployed to mainnet

Deployed to bother testnet and mainnet.

What we learned

I learned the entirely new world of XDC Blockchain. XDC Pay, its integration into a DApp, I was able to understand the architecture of XDC, its similarity, and differences with other EVM chains

What's next for Talent Musica

Talent Musica seeks to create an on-chain music Dapp where young music talents can upload their creation and mint it to the talent marketplace as Video NFTs. If users like the music, such artists can be contacted on their Twitter handles. Producers and Managers who look at the work of any upcoming artiste/talent can contact the talent and sign a contract with him/ her.

Create a community for engagement. Create an incentive model that will sustain the product. Artists create content and are duly rewarded. it is already on the mainnet, we keep improving to make it better.
