Inspiration

We had come across several reports and articles on Entrepreneurship in India, which depicted the low entrepreneurship rates in India. As per GEM India Report, the Total Entrepreneurship Activity rate in India was just 5.3% in the year 2020 and 14.4% in the year 2021. Having a look at the current low employment rate in India, we saw it as an opportunity to bloom the entrepreneurship rate in India, which can also help us to improves the figures of employment rate, and hence we decided to build a project, which can help us to achieve this. We then went across the problems which entrepreneurs face nowadays, and then decided to create a bridge which can help budding entrepreneurs in their entrepreneurship journey.

What it does

We have created an online portal in this project, where all the 4 pillars of market: Budding Entrepreneurs, Job Seekers, Job Providers and Investors; come together, work in correlation with each other and act as 4 wheels of a vehicle, to improve the current situation of Indian market. Budding Entrepreneurs can enlist their problems on our platform and our AI-based search engine will provide solutions to those problems, detecting them. They can easily seek an investor or can take loan from banks, through our portal. They can also find skillful employees for their business through our platform itself. Job seekers get ample opportunities to find adequate jobs for themselves, as we will be having both upcoming startups as well as already established ventures, enlisted on our platform.

How we built it

We have built this project using the tools of web-development. For Frontend, we have used HTML, CSS and React JS. For Backend, we have used Firebase, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). We will also be creating an AI-based search engine for our project.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we have ahead of us in creating this project, is to apply Aritficial Intelligence (AI) and Maching Learning (ML) in the backend of our online platform and creating an AI based search engine.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through our project, we have accomplished an extremely big step to solve the current problem of low entrepreneurship as well as employment rates in India.

What we learned

By working on this project, we will be learning a lot about the current situation of market in India, how entrepreneurship works and about the hurdles entrepreneurs face in their entrepreneurship journey. In technical aspects, we will improve ourselves a lot on our web development skills and will also learn a lot about AI and ML.

What's next for Talent Bridge

Our online portal carries a lot of potential for future. Currently there is no platform based on our idea, online. Our online platform has the capability to improve the employment and entrepreneurship rate in India and can act as a bridge to success for entrepreneurs.
