Inspiration
Inspired by the game 'There is no game', I desired to make a game that does require heavy attention from the user, but entertains the user with its story and can be a fun-side game with a story-line and options to choose from.
What it does
It takes you through a conversation where you 'take the L.'
How I built it
Understanding and utilizing android studio for the first time, I decided to make this app page by page, with each button taking you to the next page.
Challenges I ran into
Creating a compelling storyline as well as the sheer time and repetitiveness of the basic page code, which was a little difficult without my teammates.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Being able to increase my efficiency with android app building over a night. The last page took about 1/10th the time of the first one.
What I learned
I learned how to make an android app, the basics at least. I realized the few languages I should study a little further and even what all I can possibly do if I stick to an idea.
What's next for Take the L
A more comprehensive storyline and consumer feedback.
